(Dec. 20, 2007) – Dean Rouso, ABR, GRI, CRS, CNC-Certified Negotiation Consultant and Broker-Owner of western Cook County’s newest real estate brokerage firm, Prime Property Partners in La Grange, Ill., has been recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR). Rouso has recently completed his term as President of MORe (the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®), which is the second-largest REALTOR® member organization in Illinois and in the top 10 largest in the nation. He remains on MORe’s executive board of directors for the 2007-08 fiscal year.

 

In addition to the prestigious Board of Directors appointments to NAR, IAR and MORe for 2007-08, Rouso was named to the critical 2008 Conventional Finance and Lending Committee of the NAR, with the term starting on Dec. 1, 2007. Rouso was also appointed to the Illinois Association of REALTORS Business Issues and License Law Working Group, and the Professional Development Involvement Group. According to Chris Read, Chair of the IAR, Rouso will be an excellent asset to this committee due to his business acumen and strong, long-standing relationships with REALTORS® and consumers.

APPEALING COOK COUNTY REAL ESTATE TAXES ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 12, 2007

(Dec. 3, 2007) – Prime Property Partners, the western suburbs’ newest real estate agency, will host a free one-hour seminar for consumers on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, from 7-8 p.m. in its office located at 114 Calendar Ave. in La Grange, Ill. The educational session titled “How to Appeal Cook County Real Estate Taxes” will be presented jointly by the Community Bank of Oak Park and Prime Property Partners. A question-and-answer session will follow the seminar.

 

Real estate tax attorney Anastasia Poulopoulos and Eric Westberg from Community Bank of Oak Park will discuss key points on this topic and address how Cook County property owners can appeal their taxes.

 

“The Cook County real estate tax statements can be daunting for homeowners. We’ve invited Anastasia and Eric to help property owners understand what makes up their tax bill and what it takes to get their property tax reduced.
